The jumbled mess (and I don't mean that in a derogatory sense) that is the CMAC has moved some teams around this week.

What looked like a two-team race in the CMAC (Fowler and Bath) is now a five-team race as Portland St. Patrick, Dansville, and P-W all won multiple games to make it close with a month to go.

Here are the top five of the CMAC standings, as of this writing (morning of January 30th):

Fowler 8-1

Portland St. Patrick 8-1

Dansville 7-2

Bath 6-2

P-W 5-3

As you can see, it will be a very competitive race to the end for the CMAC title.  Dansville is the defending champion.

The other area leagues look like they're down to two teams each.  Holt is at DeWitt this Tuesday for the lead in the CAAC Blue.  The CAAC Red will come down to Williamston and Haslett, and the second Lansing Catholic-Portland game will decide the CAAC White title.

Some of this week's top games are:  Tuesday:  Lansing Catholic at Lowell and Morrice at Ovid-Elsie.  Wednesday:  Laingsburg at Fowler and Portland St. Pats @ P-W.  Thursday's schedule features Williamston @ Ovid-Elsie.  Friday's top games are:  Grand Ledge @ DeWitt and Fowler @ Portland St. Patrick.  And Saturday has Haslett hosting Rockford (who beat Lansing Catholic last Saturday).

And Brock Palmbos will recap everything that happened during the week on High School Rewind.  Which is heard every Saturday morning from 10am-11am.  On your trusted source for high school sports. The Game 730 AM WVFN.
