The regular season is now over in the state of Michigan.  And that means the magic of March (or late February) is upon us.  As the district tournaments begin this week.

Oh, before I forget, you can find the Lansing-area district matchups here.

And for the first time in God knows how long, all four of our area leagues had undefeated (in league play) conference champions.

East Lansing won the CAAC Blue by three games with a 12-0 league record.  Mason won the CAAC White by four games with a 10-0 league record.  Sexton won the CAAC White by four games with a 14-0 league record.  And Laingsburg won the CMAC title by two games with an 18-0 league record.  Congratulations to all of them.

This is the final boys top 10 poll of the regular season.  The final boys poll of the season will be released after the state finals in March.  Charlotte gets the last spot this week, nudging out Olivet, Ovid-Elsie, and DeWitt.

And we'll have a boys district final matchup this Friday night on The Game 730 AM WVFN.  It will likely be the Mason district final (we won't know for sure until Wednesday night), but if it isn't, we'll find another great district final to broadcast.

And Brock Palmbos will recap everything from the week this Saturday morning with High School Rewind.  That's heard every Saturday morning from 10a-11a during the basketball season.

We are, and continue to be, your trusted source for high school sports coverage.  The Game 730 AM WVFN.
