We are now in the home stretch of the boys basketball season.  The state tournament starts in three weeks and the draws for the district tournament will  be made public next week.

We have our first league champion of the season.  And it's Mason.  They clinched a share of the CAAC Red title with a win last week at St. Johns.  And Lee Chaney's crew will clinch the outright title if they beat Fowlerville at home on Thursday.

The J-Dubbs of Sexton are in the drivers seat in the CAAC white after surviving a buzzer-beater at Olivet last Friday (Olivet's game-tying shot was ruled late by the officials in Sexton's 64-61 win).  Sexton has a two game lead over Charlotte with five league games to go.

It's a three-team race in the CAAC Blue as East Lansing, Okemos, and Waverly are 1-2-3 in the Blue.  East Lansing is at Waverly on Friday night.

Undefeated Laingsburg still leads the CMAC.  And their winning streak is now 43 out of their last 45 games.  They have a great chance to be undefeated until the state tournament, just like last year.

Monday's schedule features Mason hosting Parma Western and Portland is at Ovid-Elsie.

Tuesday's top games have DeWitt at Okemos, Perry at Laingsburg, P-W at Fowler, and Ovid-Elsie at Stockbridge.

On Thursday, Mason can clinch the CAAC Red title if they can beat Fowlerville at home, while Dansville is at P-W.

Friday's action has East Lansing at Waverly, Sexton at Charlotte, and Grand Ledge at Okemos.

We will have the East Lansing at Waverly game on The Game 730 AM WVFN this Friday night.  Brock Palmbos and Erik "Doc" Love will have the call from Phil Odlum Gymnasium starting at 7:00.

And then Brock Palmbos will recap everything that happened during the week on High School Rewind.  Which is heard every Saturday morning from 10am-11am on The Game 730 AM WVFN.

Ok, on with this week's rankings:
