Congratulations to Mason for winning the outright CAAC Red championship last Thursday with their victory over Fowlerville.

And Sexton took a stranglehold on the CAAC White race with a close road victory at Charlotte last Friday night.  They have a three-game lead in the White with four league games left.

One of the games of the year was last Friday night as East Lansing knocked off Waverly on the road, 57-53.  K..J. Torbert had a double-double (14 points, 11 rebounds) to lead the Trojans to the victory.  East Lansing is still undefeated in CAAC Blue action at 8-0.

And the winning streak for Laingsburg is now 46 wins in their last 48 games, dating back to the end of the 2021-22 season.  Zander Woodruff had 43 points in their victory over Lansing Christian to become the school's all-time leading scorer.

There are two weeks left in the regular season, with the district tournament starting on February 26th.

Monday's top games include:  Waverly at Okemos, Holt at East Lansing, Everett at DeWitt, and Laingsburg is at Freeland.

Tuesday's action features:  Mason at Grand Ledge, St. Johns at Stockbridge, Eaton Rapids at Olivet, and Laingsburg at Saranac.

On Thursday, Mason is at Eastern and Laingsburg is at Dansville.

On Friday, DeWitt is at East Lansing, Okemos is at Holt, Sexton hosts Ionia, Eaton Rapids is at Portland, and Ovid-Elsie is at Durand.

And finally on Saturday, crosstown rivals do battle as the Quakers of Eastern head to the westside to face the CAAC White leaders in Sexton.
