According to a report from Sean Scherer of 247sports, Michigan State junior defensive back Montae Nicholson will forgo his senior season.

Scherer's source told him "Montae is very, very, very, very, very likely to declare for the NFL draft,".

Nicholson played in 38 games with the Spartans registering four interceptions, 109 tackles and one forced fumble during his three-year career.

Nicholson tweeted a letter thanking fans and coaches during his time at MSU.

The former spartan safety joins Malik McDowell as the only reported players from Michigan State to declare early for the draft.
