The Buffalo Bills announced on Tuesday that head coach Rex Ryan has been fired after almost two seasons.

Ryan finished 8-8 in 2015 and currently sit at 7-8 and will finish 3rd in the AFC east. Bills offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn will serve as the interim coach for the season finale against the New York Jets. The team also announced that Rob Ryan was also relieved of his duties as assistant head coach.

Rex Ryan has not finished above .500 since 2010 when he lead the New York Jets to the AFC championship game.
