ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow is planning on trying his hand at Major League Baseball.

Tebow's agents say that he has been working out in California for nearly a year.  He played baseball in high school but has never played even in collegiate baseball.

Tebow won a pair of national titles at Florida at the Gators quarterback in 2006 and 2008.  He was a first round draft choice with the Denver Broncos in 2009, where he played through 2011.  He was traded to the New York Jets before the 2012 season.
