Michigan State’s Trae Waynes Runs Sub-4.4 40-Yard Dash at NFL Combine, Mark Dantonio Loves It
Coming into Monday, Trae Waynes was already projected to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Now he may be one of the very first picks of all.
Waynes ran the 40-yard dash on Monday, posting a time of 4.31 seconds. That's the fastest among defensive back's at this year's combine and the second-fastest time overall.
Waynes' time is also tied for third-best among defensive backs and 10th-best overall at the NFL combine since 2006.
Check out the Vine video from Waynes' former MSU teammate and No Fly Zone partner Darqueze Dennard, who was drafted in the first round of last year's NFL Draft. Also check out the reaction from Mark Dantonio, who was in attendance today.
