Tonight is the game all MSU Spartan fans have been waiting for. The Spartans will clash with the Pittsburgh Panthers tonight in the Peach Bowl. Pitt is coached by former MSU defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi.

Both teams are without their star players. MSU is without star running back Kenneth Walker III, and Pitt is without star quarterback Kenny Pickett. But that is past tense. MSU has to have a solid showing.

I feel these offensive players that are getting a chance for MSU should play their brains out. Because, as with anything, your window of opportunity is so short and small. They are playing for playing time for next year.

This is Head Coach of MSU Mel Tucker’s first bowl game as the man in control. Tucker has been around college and pro football for many years. He knows the impact of this ballgame in Atlanta.

There are many reasons they need to crush Pitt. First, a win would help with recruiting in that fertile area of Atlanta and all over the country. A second reason is for the Spartan Nation. Finally, a win would start telling people Tucker’s huge contract is worth it.

Listen, that’s not a dig it’s a reality. For Coach Tucker to earn that kind of coin coming up, he still has a lot to prove.

It all takes place tonight in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Falcons. Can MSU beat Pittsburg without Kenneth Walker III? I guess we will see soon enough!
