Friday night marks the unofficial start of the Michigan State Basketball seasons for both the Men's and Women's teams.

Midnight Madness is set to take place this evening at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center. the event is open to fans and admission is absolutely free. So, here is what you need to know to maximize your experience this evening.

Doors to the Breslin Center open up to fans at 8:30 PM. (Note: Normal security regulations for admission apply) The event will begin with an autograph session for fans on the concourse of the arena.

At 9:30 PM , the formal introduction of the men's and women's teams will begin. Not only will there be team scrimmages, the raising of the banner for the men's team for the 2019 Final Four berth will take place.

Additionally, there will be a live performance from former Michigan State student and Detroit native Quinn XCII. The Spartan Marching Band, the drumline, the MSU cheer team, MSU dance team, and Sparty will all be on hand as well.
