Former MSU power forward Draymond Green stated in a podcast that he is the greatest defender ever in the history of the NBA. Well, Draymond, I hate to break the news to you but you’re not.

Lately, Draymond has been popping off and talking about things that he really doesn’t need to. Listen, Green is a solid player, but he’s not the greatest defender ever in the history of the NBA. There are many old-time players like Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain and Wes Unseld just to name a few that were far better than Draymond Green on the defensive side.

In the modern era Hakeem Olajuwon, Ben Wallace and especially Dennis Rodman were much better defenders and rebounders than Green. Draymond Green has to know this, and if he doesn’t, he doesn’t know the history of the NBA.

These players I stated would have to be shaking their heads and laughing at Green with his comments. Great players don’t make comments like that because they don’t have to. Everyone knows their greatness.

Sooner or later Dennis Rodman will comment about Draymond saying he is the greatest defender ever in the history of the NBA. Draymond, you are not the greatest defender ever in the history of the NBA! Sorry, but that's the truth!
