Stafford Won’t be Coming Back, What That Means for the Lions
Over the weekend Matthew Stafford made a decision with the Detroit Lions organization that he will not be returning next season. He more less is demanding to be traded. Do you blame him? No!
Stafford has been loyal to just a pathetic professional sports franchise for a long time. The Lions are trying to make solid hires with their coaching staff. The last head coach that was there was the worst of the worst. Matthew Stafford has to just be sick and tired of losing every year. Plus, he’s getting a little long in the tooth.
The Detroit Lions will have to try and possibly get a few draft choices for him that can help them win in the near future. Now, don’t get me wrong, Matthew Stafford on a whole has put up very impressive statistics, but he also has smelled at times too.
Listen, he’s proven he can play hurt, play for a rotten team and play for awful moronic coaches. But now it is time to move on to another team that could be a contender sooner than later.
Under new guidance from a new GM and a new head coach, they must get a younger solid quarterback to help them win in the upcoming future.
We want to thank Matthew Stafford for a very good career and don’t forget he was paid unbelievably well. Now who will be his replacement?
