Who Do You Have This Sunday? Mad Dog’s Thoughts on the 2021 NFL Playoffs
We are almost at the point where we will know who will play in the Super Bowl this year.
The NFC Championship Game pits Tampa Bay at Green Bay. Toe to leather at 3:05 PM this Sunday. It will feature two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks playing against each other. Aaron Rodgers versus Tom Brady. Brady will try to get to this year’s Super Bowl with another team: the Buccaneers. If Tampa Bay does win, he will reach the big game without Bill Belicheck, his former head coach, and they will play the game in their home stadium of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This has to be a motivating factor for Tom Brady as Brady is regarded by many as the greatest quarterback in NFL history.
But Aaron Rodgers will have something to say about that. He wants to win one more Super Bowl to solidify his mark in NFL folklore. Green Bay is a home favorite in Sunday’s contest.
In the AFC Championship Game, the Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs are a slight home favorite like the Packers are. The Bills are playing very well with their quarterback Josh Allen, but the Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl Champs. They are led by their outstanding upcoming superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He was concussed last week in the ball game, and he still hasn’t been cleared through protocol yet. If he plays, and I imagine he will, it could be curtains for the Bills.
I like the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Who do you have this Sunday? Let me know!
