MHSAA Moving Girls B-Ball Finals Back To Breslin

The Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) announced on Monday that the annual girls basketball semifinals and finals will move back to the Jack Breslin Student Events Center, possibly as soon as this coming March.

It is conditional, however.  If the Michigan State women's basketball team receives a top-four seed in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, and therefore gets to host a first and second round regional, then the girls semis and finals will move to either Hope College (in 2020) or Western Michigan University (2021 or beyond).

The girls basketball semis and finals have been at Calvin College's Van Noord Arena the last two seasons.
