The Detroit Red Wings and the Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues will play an exhibition game on Thursday night at Calumet Colosseum in Calumet, MI.

The Calumet Colosseum won the Kraft Hockeyville USA contest earlier this year.  It's a yearly competition to determine the best hockey city in the United States.  It beat out Cadillac, MI as well as towns in Wisconsin and Minnesota for this year's honor.

The Colosseum seats around 700 people and was built over 100 years ago.  The preseason game will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network (NBCSN).  The Stanley Cup will be present in Calumet, and many events have been scheduled to promote the event all week long.

The Wings, by the way, are 2-2-2 on the preseason with two games remaining.  St. Louis is 3-2-0 with three games left in their exhibition season.
