
Waverly HS Names Watts As New Boys B-Ball Coach
On Monday morning, Lansing Waverly High School athletic director Scott Casteele announced that Rod Watts would become the school's new head boys basketball coach.
Watts was the former coach of Lansing Eastern and Westland John Glenn in recent years. He replaces the departed Craig Fields. Watts is a graduate of Waverly High School from 1981.
The Warriors were 10-12 last season under coach Fields, they lost to DeWitt in the district finals in Division 1, 57-43.
