Report: California H.S. Coach Headed To Oregon, Not Michigan
The Detroit News and WTKA in Ann Arbor is reporting that Michael Johnson, a high school coach in California will not join the Wolverines as an assistant coach and will join the University of Oregon staff. It had been reported that Johnson would join the Michigan staff for the 2017 season earlier this week.
Johnson's son, Michael is a highly touted QB for the class of 2019. And he's a recruiting target for the Wolverines in the future.
