Michigan State University announced that football staffer Curtis Blackwell is suspended but the school would not release details as to why or for how long according to MLive's Kyle Austin.

The Detroit Free Press adds that the school wouldn't confirm if Blackwell was the anonymous staffer that was suspended on Thursday along with three unnamed football players in connection with both a sexual assault investigation and a title IX investigation.

A Michigan State representative said the staffer from the previous report was suspended and would not confirm when Blackwell's suspension started.

Blackwell joined the Michigan State football staff in 2013 as the Director Of College Advancement/Performance and his tasks includes overseeing recruiting and mentoring incoming freshman.

Mark Dantonio and his other assistant coaches are all still regular full-time employees of the University.

There is no start date of Blackwell's paid suspension.
