According to a press release from Michigan State University, the Michigan State Police Department is investigating three football players and a staff member of the football team regarding sexual assault allegations.

The three football players have been suspended, removed from all athletic activities and removed from campus housing. The football staff member has also been suspended from all activities as well.

Michigan State is also conducting a Title IX investigation headed by Rebecca Veidlinger to determine the extent of  MSU’s Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct policy violations.

The Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office will review for the results of the internal investigation for possible criminal charges.
