MSU Men’s Basketball To Be Without Goins
Michigan State announced on Thursday afternoon that the men's basketball team will be without reserve frontcourt man Kenny Goins (pictured) for "a couple of weeks", due to a knee injury. That's according to the school.
Goins, a redshirt junior, accumulated four points and three rebounds in Tuesday night's 88-81 loss to number 1 Duke in Chicago's United Center.
The Spartans are also without junior guard Kyle Ahrens indefinitely, due to a foot injury suffered in practice earlier this season.
Goins played in all 35 games for the Spartans last season, averaging two points and three rebounds a game, according to his bio.
