The MSU Spartan Football team is still undefeated after getting by Indiana 20-15 on the road in Bloomington. MSU now goes to a perfect 7-0 record.

A lot of people are complaining that they thought MSU would have played better, but let me point this out. State won the hard-fought game on the road, which is not an easy task. Fans always want more because a lot of them just don’t understand.

MSU will probably move up from being #10 in the country because Iowa was upset at home versus Purdue. MSU also covered the point spread for betters, which in this day and age is part of life.

MSU’s star running back Kenneth Walker III had 84 yards rushing. He has 997 for the season. Walker is still the leading ground gainer in all of college football as we speak. He is a strong Heisman Trophy candidate too.

Now MSU will have a bye week and be off this coming weekend. They will be preparing for their arch-rivals the Michigan Wolverines with whom they will clash on October 30th in Spartan Stadium. This will be an epic battle of two solid teams. Both are undefeated, but Michigan hosts Northwestern this coming Saturday at the “Big House.” Toe to leather is at noon.

I like Michigan to go 7-0 when they play the Spartans on the 30th. Both teams would be undefeated. Michigan is looking for redemption after last year’s game with MSU. MSU beat them in Ann Arbor pretty soundly, but that was last season. It's a whole new year with many new players on both teams.

We strive for this stuff in sports. It will be the biggest game in the country for sure that day. Somewhat of Halloween Havoc. Can MSU continue to cut the cake? Well, we'll see, but they can rest and prepare for the Paul Bunyan Trophy! Who will win this epic contest?
