Michigan Football Coach Brady Hoke announced today that Offensive Coordinator Al Borges will not be back on the coaching staff for 2014. The Wolverines finished the 2013 season a disappointing 7-6, 3-5 in Big Ten conference play. Michigan faithful directed a lot of their frustrations towards Borges and his playcalling throughout much of the year. Borges has been apart of Hoke's staff at Michigan since 2011, and was Offensive Coordinator under Hoke at San Diego State 2009-10.

"Decisions like these are never easy," said Hoke. "I have a great amount of respect for Al as a football coach and, more importantly, as a person. I appreciate everything he has done for Michigan Football for the past three seasons." Read the official press release from mgoblue.com here.
