Last night was the finale of Food Network's Spring Baking Championship and a man from Michigan was the big winner! Chef Cory Barrett, who is a culinary instructor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, took home the $25,000 grand prize. And if he looks sorta, kinda, familiar to you, it could be because Barrett has been on TV before. According to his bio on the Food Network website, he worked with Michael Symon on 17 episodes of Iron Chef several years ago.

Chef Cory Barrrett describes himself as a "Pastry Chef/Instructor/Consultant" on his Instagram account and he's posted many of his food creations on Instagram. You can click here to see some of his awesome desserts! And if you're thinking about going to culinary school...well...you might want to check out more about the KVCC culinary program. I hear that they have this instructor that happens to be a baking champion...
