I've seen some impressive interior decorations, but one Michigan man is obviously dedicated to the pain, and decided to turn his basement into a full blown Detroit Lions man-cave. Recently Rodd Modern Design shared some pictures of a job they did where they took a basement which was totally trashed and transformed it into a sharp looking football themed room with the sharp Honolulu Blue that's worn by the Lions. People seemed pretty impressed with the outcome, while also taking the chance to make the obvious Lions jokes:

It looks great....just the theme is a little depressing.....make sure you install a punching bag to release frustrations on Sunday evenings....haha

Whether or not the Lions win or lose, there's no doubt the owner is gonna be enjoying Sunday football in style. The owner of the company who did the remodeling, Rodney Cooper, has apparently been doing this since the 90s and is the President of Joint Venture Development Inc. and RODD Modern Design. Joint Venture Development Inc. is a licensed home remodeling company that mainly does insurance repair due to storm, general, and fire damage.

Both of the companies he runs are Michigan based and share a 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Flint, MI that has a full scale wood shop where they design and manufacture modern furniture. The building also has a large showroom for furniture retailers, interior designers, and customers to view their products.

Regardless of all the jokes about the Detroit Lions, I'm interested to see what other companies out there have done for major Michigan sport fans to see how their man-caves hold up against this one:
