As a young 16 year old I got the chance to meet several great Michigan State Police officers.
Each of those meetings was on the side of the highway and ended up with me getting a ticket for speeding.

This means that drivers must maintain a reasonable and appropriate speed based on the current road and traffic conditions.
Driving significantly below the posted speed limit, even if it is not exceeding the maximum, can be considered a violation of the basic speed law

Michigan also has a "Left Lane Law" that requires drivers to keep right except when passing other vehicles.
If a driver is traveling slowly in the left lane and impeding the normal flow of traffic, they can be pulled over and cited, even if they are not exceeding the speed limit.
The penalties for driving too slowly in Michigan can include a civil infraction fine of up to $100, as well as points on the driver's license.
Slow driving that results in a crash or other dangerous situation could also lead to more serious charges, such as careless or reckless driving.

Bottom line when you hit the road in Michigan don't have a led food or drive like a turtle and you should be alright.
