"Crying Jordan" is out. "Laughing Jordan" is in.

Michael Jordan throwing his head back and belly-laughing at Gary Payton's expense is the meme we all need right now.

In episode 8 of ESPN's "The Last Dance" documentary on MJ and the 1990's Chicago Bulls, Jordan was shown a clip of "The Glove", Gary Payton, on an iPad.

Payton wasn't shy about what he thought he accomplished in the 1996 NBA Finals, going all-in on his theory that his defense on fellow Hall-of-Famer Jordan was one of the main reasons Seattle was able to stop the runaway Bulls from sweeping Payton's SuperSonics.

Jordan laughed.

Jordan snickered.

Jordan gave a little head shimmy.

And a new meme was born.

Someone acting out? Overstepping? Feeling a little full of themselves? Feeling a LOT full of themselves?

Maybe it's another NBA superstar. Maybe it's a group of people who should know better. Maybe it's a certain whiny politician or an evil supervillain.

Just apply some "Laughing Jordan" to reduce head-swelling.

Worked for His Airness. It can work for us all.
