East Lansing Restaurant Planned for Jolly and Dunckel Plaza Is Not Opening
Before doors could even open, plans for a late-night East Lansing eatery to open in Lansing have been forgone.
Sadly, Conrad's Grill will not be opening a new location in the Jolly and Dunckel Plaza.
Plans to open this new Conrad's location came to light in June of 2021, so only a few months ago. At the time, there was a sign in the window indicating that Conrad's Con-wraps was going to take over the old vape shop spot in the plaza, right next to Biggby Coffee.
There was no big announcement for the arrival of a new Conrad's location, so it's not surprising we haven't heard much about the new, potential location not coming to fruition.
Here's what the storefront looks like now; the sign for Conrad's has been taken down, and a new "For Lease" sign has gone up in its place.
It's sad that this section of Lansing won't see a new place to grab a bite to eat, especially one that has the potential to be open late at night.
Conrad's does have its East Lansing location still open, over on Grand River between Stoddard and Spartan avenues. It's there you'll be able to enjoy their signature tater tot wraps.
It seems that only time will tell what will become of this empty storefront. If you're looking for a brick-and-mortar location, here's one available for leasing.
