If you are anything like me, you love ghost hunting and ghost adventures.

Personally, I wish more ghost-hunting shows would come to Michigan because there are so many haunted attractions for them to visit.

However, one ghost-hunting show did come to Michigan.

The Travel Channel show "Ghost Brothers: Haunted Houseguests" chose a Michigan haunted mansion as their first episode for the series.

In the series premiere, three hosts, Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass, and Marcus Harvey, traveled to Michigan to take a peek at this haunted house in Vassar.

Travel Channel described the episode as,

"Vicious spirits are terrorizing a disabled veteran and his family in their historic Michigan mansion. They call on the Ghost Brothers to find out why their dream home is a dangerous nightmare and if it can be made safe."

Nicknamed the "Wedding Cake House", the owners felt like their home was haunted by both good and bad spirits.

During the episode, one of the owners, Jessica shared how she was seriously injured by a mirror that randomly shattered.

The house was built in 1879 for Richard C Burtis, who was a shoemaker and landowner, according to Wikipedia.

In the show, Juwan mentions how misleading the historic home is.

"On the inside, you're dealing with some heavy energy which may be demonic."

Since they channel the energy of the iconic Ghostbusters, it was only right for the Ghost Brothers to take a crack at the house.

Juwan told sources about how their ghost-hunting process works.

"We really get to help people and we get to really find the reason why their house is haunted. We add a little Indiana Jones and find out why the house is haunted. We look at housing records, land reports, etc. We dive deep into the history of the property, things people never knew when they bought their house."

Sometimes they bring in ghost experts and mediums to help them as well.
