Hockey is almost here and with the season a few weeks away Fox Sports Detroit has announced their season broadcast schedule.

According to the Red Wings,  Fox Sports Detroit will air a total of 77 games between the preseason and 2019-2020 season for the Red Wings.

64 of those will be on Fox Sports Detroit. The other 13 games will air on Fox Sports Detroit Plus.  Fox Sports Detroit will also cover non exclusive playoff games if the Red Wings are in.

The other games through out the season will be covered by NBC Sports.   This will include the Kraft Hockeyville game that features the Red Wings and St. Louis Blues in Calumet, Michigan on September 26th.

Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond will return to call the games through out the season.

The Red Wings will begin their preseason schedule on September 17th against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The regular season will begin for the Red Wings on Saturday night October 5th in Nashville.
