Michigan State head football coach Mark Dantonio (pictured) will have to talk about the recruitment of former MSU player Auston Robertson once the Spartans' season is over, a Michigan federal judge decided on Tuesday.

This is in relation to the Curtis Blackwell wrongful termination lawsuit against Dantonio and others that's in federal court now. Blackwell is a former MSU football staff member who was suspended indefinitely in February 2017 and whose contract was not renewed four months after that.

Blackwell's lawyers wanted Dantonio to be deposed during one of State's upcoming bye weeks, but that was denied by the judge. Dantonio wanted to only testify for up to 3 1/2 hours in front of lawyers, but that was denied as well.
