MLive is reporting that Michigan State University's football program will not bring back assistant coach Curtis Blackwell once his contract expires on Wednesday.

Blackwell has been suspended with pay since February while the investigation into an alleged sexual assault incident in January involving three unnamed Spartan football players.

Blackwell oversaw the program's recruiting during his time at MSU.  He's been an assistant since 2013
