Charlotte School Board Member Resigns

Charlotte school board president Shane Gonser has resigned from his position in response to threats made against him and the rest of the board.

On Monday, boys basketball varsity coach Steve Ernst resigned after the school board put him on an individual development plan about the amount of technical fouls Ernst has gotten during his two-season tenure in Charlotte.

There is a school board meeting scheduled for Thursday to address the Ernst coaching situation.  The Orioles are 4-2 so far this season.
