Add this to the list of services or businesses that are shutting down at least temporarily. According to WLNS, CATA or the Capital Area Transportation Authority is suspending regular-route bus service beginning Monday, March 23. The shutting down of bus service won't be forever but it will be until further notice or at least until April 5th.

Even though regular bus service is down, there will be a free demand-response service for the Capital Area's most vulnerable citizens. This service will also be available to essential workforce, key government employees and those who support the most critical of our city's infrastructure.

CATA has done a lot to fend off the coronavirus outbreak with cleaner buses, wipe stations, reduction of some services, and more. You can read more about it here.
