Rodeman, 35, passed away after being hit by a truck while collecting donations for the annual Fill the Boot fundraiser.
There was an exchange of words between Taylor and Rodeman had some sort of altercation before Taylor drove away, only to turn around and hit Rodeman. He then fled the scene.
The Lansing State Journal reports that police believe Taylor deliberately hit Rodeman.
