12 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About the Great Lakes
When you have lived in Michigan long enough and especially lived in its state capital like we do here in Lansing, it can be easy to think we know it all!
We have so much access to all of the history and some of us have dedicated copious amounts of time looking into all of the legends and myths around Michigan.
For many of us, school field trips included trips to the history museum and exploring the capitol building. It is all extremely fascinating but does it ever feel a little anxiety-inducing to think about all of the things you still don't know?
We here in Michigan take a lot of pride in the Great Lakes that surround our state and we sure know a lot about them too; however, there is still a lot more to be explored.
It's been said before that we know more about outer space than our own oceans and I feel like the same can be said for our Great Lakes.
