The MSU Spartans have an enormous football game on Saturday night. This will be a huge test for Mark Dantonio's troops. Notre Dame led by head coach Brian Kelly. Kelly, finds himself in an urgency to win this game. The Spartans have won their first two games against MAC opponents. so, many feel they should beat those schools. Now, Notre Dame comes to East Lansing.

Many feel MSU can't beat the Fighting Irish, I say that's incredibly false. The Spartans are a three point home underdog. If the Spartans want to make a statement Saturday night they need this game badly. Mark Dantonio's problem players are behind him now. Coach Dantonio can now concentrate on their young team this season.

The Spartans offense is led by young quarterback Brian Lewerke and LJ Scott. The defense is led by Joe Bachie and Chris Frey. Notre Dame's offense is led by their quarterback Brandon Wimbush and running back Josh Adams. The Fighting Irish defense is led by Nyles Morgan and Drue Tranquill. There is a ton of uncertainty with both teams. Notre Dame lost two weeks to a solid Georgia team by one point. This will be true test for the Spartans young team. I like the Spartans in a close game, But the defense will have to fly around and be aggressive.
