The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim won their second game in as many nights over the Detroit Tigers with a 4-0 win at Angels Stadium Saturday night. Efren Navarro led the way for Los Angeles (62-41) with a solo home run, the first of his career,  and two RBI, C.J. Cron and Howie Kendrick also drove in runs and Michigan native Matt Shoemaker (8-3) gave up only three hits in seven innings for the win. The Tigers (57-44) could only manage four hits in total, two from Austin Jackson and one each from Ian Kinsler and Eugenio Suarez. Justin Verlander took the loss and fell to a record of 9-9.The two teams wrap up their series Sunday afternoon. Rick Porcello (12-5) throws for Detroit while Hector Santiago (2-7) takes the hill for Los Angeles. Pregame coverage begins at 3:15pm on :Lansing's Big Talker 1240 WJIM.
