The Detroit Tigers (57-42) beat the Los Angeles Angels (60-41) today, 6-4.The Tigers were the first to get on the board in the 3rd after Ian Kinsler hit a ground out, giving Eugenio Suarez the chance to score a run. The Tigers would keep the lead until the 5th when C.J. Cron hit a ground single to score Howie Kendrick. Kole Calhoun hit a line drive single to bring home David Freese and Cron to take the lead. Detroit Came back in the 6th when Torii Hunter hit a line drive double, scoring a run by Miguel Cabrera. Then after a double off the bat of Nick Castellanos, brought home Hunter and Victor Martinez for a couple of runs. In the 7th, Kinsler hit a double to score Austin Jackson to give the Tigers a 2 run lead. In the 8th, Jackson hit an RBI single to bring in Suarez. A sacrifice fly off the bat of Josh Hamilton scored Mike Trout in the 8th. But it wasn't enough, as the Tigers took the win.
