1. Lions Roll Over Giants On Monday Night Football

Last night on Monday Night Football, the Detroit Lions started the new era, the Jim Caldwell era, as the Lions won over the Giants 35-14.  Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford were on the same wave length hooking up for 2 touchdowns and over 100 yards.  Stafford finished the game 22/32 for 346 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Joique Bell had 19 rushes for 51 yards and 1 touchdown as he led the Lions rushing attack last night.  The Lions defense also looked on point as they sacked Eli Manning twice and caused two interceptions.  Even though they had two sacks, it seemed like there was pressure on Eli Manning all night long.  The Lions will have a short week to prepare for their next game in Carolina as they take on the Panthers.
