1. Pistons Extend Streak To 7 After Win In Dallas

The Detroit Pistons finished a Texas sweep as they topped the Mavericks 108-95.  The Pistons won the night before 105-104 against the Spurs.  Greg Monroe lead the Pistons with a huge double-double scoring 27 points and grabbing 18 rebounds.  Off the bench, D.J. Augustin scored 26 points in 21 game minutes.  Dirk Nowitzki lead the way for the Mavericks scoring 19 points but was not enough to slow down the Pistons.  The Pistons next game will be against the soaring Atlanta Hawks tomorrow night at the Palace.

2. Red Wings Win 2nd Straight In 2 days

Last night the Detroit Red Wings were looking to win for the 2nd straight game as they faced the Calgary Flames in Calgary.  The Red Wings ended up topping the Flames 3-2 thanks to Justin Abdelkader.  Abdelkader picked up his 11th goal and 12th assist of the year. Petr Mrazek was in night to allow Jimmy Howard a day off and played well stopping 28/30 shots and was able to get his 5th win of the year.  The Red Wings next game will be on Saturday against the Washington Capitals.

3. Calvin Johnson Out Of Pro-bowl

Calvin Johnson will not be playing in the pro-bowl this year and will be replaced by Giants rookie Odell Beckham Jr. Calvin will not be playing due to an injury.  The NFL announced last night that Odell Beckham Jr. who was the 12th overall pick in this years past NFL draft.  Beckham, in 12 games, had 12 touchdowns, 91 catches and 1,305 yards.

4. Jameis Winston Will Go To NFL Draft

2013 Heisman Trophy Winner Jameis Winston will enter the NFL Draft.  Winston's father told media sources that he will not be returning to Florida State.  Florida State went 26-1 with Winston behind center.  The only loss was against the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl as part of the college football playoff.  Check out more on Winston and his draft position here.

5. Aaron Rogers Will Play vs Cowboys

Aaron Rogers says "I'm going on Sunday" when asked about his status for the game against the Cowboys.  Rogers re-injured his leg against the Lions in week 17 and was taken out of the game for a little bit of time.  The Packers had a week off because they own the 2nd seed overall in the NFC playoffs.  The Cowboys vs Packers game will be Sunday at 1:00 pm followed by the Colts vs Bronco's game.
