You Can Hear Lansing Sexton’s and Lansing Catholic’s State Championship Games on Our Sister Station

Two Lansing High Schools are vying for state championships, and we're bringing you live coverage of both of those games.

Normally, we'd have these games on our airwaves at WVFN, but the crazy sports weekend (Michigan State football, multiple Michigan State basketball games, the Red Wings, etc.) have given us the good problem of too much sports! So we're moving our two Lansing team's MHSAA finals to our sister station, 97.5 NOW FM, which has a bigger broadcast signal anyway (meaning you can hear it more clearly and more distantly).

It all starts on Friday night at 7:30 when the Lansing Sexton Big Reds make their first ever state title game appearance against the Grand Rapids South Christian Sailors in the Division 4 final. Then, Saturday at 4:30 in the Division 5 title game we have the Lansing Catholic Cougars battle the Grand Rapids West Catholic Falcons.
