WMU Picks Up MSU Running Back La’Darius Jefferson
Western Michigan University's football Broncos picked up a running back today from Michigan State University. A former Mr. Football in Michigan, La'Darius Jefferson, who entered transfer protocol last October, will be playing football on Stadium Drive this fall.
According to the Detroit News, Jefferson will have two years of eligibility left. Western is looking for a replacement for senior LeVante Bellamy. Much decorated in high school, Muskegon native Jefferson posted 280 yards rushing and four touchdowns, on 97 carries, along with 10 receptions for 63 yards.
