The Red Wings had a huge victory against the Nashville Predators tonight, 5-2. Gustav Nyquist got the first goal seconds into the 1st period with a wrist shot. Kyle Quincey scored the second goal of the period with a slap shot. But the Wings wern't done yet, Tomas Tatar scored a goal of his own with a snap shot. Mattais Ekholm scored with a wrist shot to get Nashville on the board. But the Wings responded when Henrik Zetterberg scored a goal early in the 2nd. Seconds left in the period, Tatar scored his second goal of the night, giving Detroit a 5-1 lead going into the final period. The Predators got one last goal in the 3rd with Mike Fisher scoring with a  wrist shot. But the Wings stayed on top.
