Williamston, Fowlerville Win Tight Games To Advance In Diamond Classic
In games that were postponed from Monday due to weather, the Williamston Hornets and Fowlerville Gladiators won first-round games on Wednesday at Cooley Law School Stadium to advance to Thursday night's quarterfinals of the 57th Dean Shippey Capital Diamond Classic.
The Hornets won in walk-off fashion to knock off the defending Division 4 state champion Portland St. Patrick Shamrocks: Recap via the Lansing State Journal.
