The Michigan State Spartan hockey team saw their two game win streak snapped in a 5-2 loss to the University of New Hampshire Wildcats in Durham, NH Saturday night. UNH (3-5) drew first blood on an Andrew Poturalski goal in the first period. MSU (3-5) rallied in the second to te the game with Mackinzie MacEachern found the back of the net then took the lead on a power play blast from Michael Ferrantino. New Hampshire knotted the game at three when Matt Willows sacoerd then took the lead for good near the end of the peroid on Tyler Kellher's goal. The Wildcats then added two more goals in the final period from Dan Correale and Grayson Downing to cap off the scoring. Jake Hildebrand made 16 saves in goal for the Spartans while Adam Clark stopped 22 shots for the Wildcats. The Spartans return to Munn Ice Arena Friday night to host the Boston College Eagles who come in ranked third in the country. Puck drops at 7:00pm/
