Postseason MLB is now underway. The Wildcard teams have moved on to face their new opponents.

In the AL, the Kansas City Royals move on and In the NL the San Francisco Giants also move on to the next round.

In the AL we will be watching intently as the Detroit Tigers take on the Baltimore Orioles. Detroit has had a Jekyll and Hyde season this year. They are the only team in MLB history to wait until the last day of the season to win their division by one game two years in a row. The Tigers have three CY Young Winners in their four-man rotation. They have the Orioles who have home field advantage but three of their kingpin players are out of action for the ALDS.

To me the Los Angeles Angels are going to be a tough team to beat with their great player Mike Trout. Plus they almost never lose at home. In the NL, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the team to beat. They are led by their multiple Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw, who is the only pitcher in MLB history to lead any league with the lowest ERA three years in a row.

Bottom line, just remember it's top-flight pitching and who ever gets hot that will win the World Series.
