Tonight is going to be a special ballgame. The National Champion of all college football will be crowned tonight in South Florida. It’s Alabama versus Thee Ohio State.

Bama is an eight and a half point favorite at a neutral site. It’s the CFP National Championship Game Presented by AT&T. Toe to leather is at 8 PM, and the game is being played in Miami.

It’s been a strange year for college football with Covid-19 cases running rampant. It affected almost every team, especially Ohio State. Their young coach is Ryan Day and he is pitted against the old master Nick Saban.

Saban has won six National Championships. He is regarded as possibly the top college coach ever. His counterpart Ryan Day took over when former Buckeye coach Urban Meyer resigned under duress. Day took over and hasn’t looked back.

Alabama has Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith and a strong quarterback in Mac Jones and running back Najee Harris. Thee Ohio State has quarterback Justin Fields and just one solid team that can get the job done. This should be a barnburner.

Saban lives for these games and by his record it shows. But is there a new sheriff in town named Ryan Day?

I like Bama to cover in this game, but we will see.
