I have always absolutely loved bobble heads. I was first introduced to them as a child living at 1433 Sunnyside in Lansing. If I remember correctly, my first bobble head was of a Detroit Tiger. Since then I have had many over the years.

People all over the world have and collect bobble heads. They come in all shapes and sizes. Bobble heads are caricatures  from sports teams, players, presidents, movie stars, animals, historic people and anything people can think of.

Bobble heads began their long-standing popularity in the United States by being made in Germany in the 1920s and '30s. Their popularity really took off in the 1950s. They were made of either porcelain or plastic.

The National Bobble head Hall of Fame and Museum is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Many sports teams have bobble head giveaways at their ball parks or stadiums. Bobble heads are just plain cool. I would be shocked that a majority of the people in the world don’t have at least one bobble head.

If you don’t have something to collect, you should start collecting bobble heads. I have some pretty old ones, and I won’t part with them unless I was to get a great offer from a collector. Who loves bobble heads? I would say millions around the world.
