For the past 10 years I have been doing the MSU Tailgate Show. Almost every home Saturday, I would park at Mt. Hope and Farm Lane. From there, I would make about a mile and a half stroll to our broadcast site by Spartan Stadium. It was a long, tough walk I looked forward to every week. Sometimes I had to run a bit to make it on time but most of the time, I was able to take in some of the most beautiful scenery Michigan has to offer on the MSU campus. There is something about the fall and that place for me. Sure, all the pretty ladies running around are nice but it really doesn't compare to the campus.

That is my favorite place to take a scenic walk in Michigan currently. It'll SUCK not getting to do that walk this year for MSU football games. The smells and sounds of those tailgates... I miss them already.

We have been to many nature trails. Lansing is full of great walking trails. Every once in a while, we stumble on to them just by chance. Getting out and getting exercise helps fight off depression and if you walk around 30 minutes a day, it helps you prevent Alzheimer's and dementia.

Although, you want to be careful outdoors in Michigan right now because of the Eastern Equine Encephalitis.

Where is your favorite place to take a scenic walk in the area? Even if it isn't public, take and share a picture. We'd love to see them.
