The Super Bowl is just days away, and it’s time to choose your proposition bet. So, what is a proposition bet, also called a prop bet? It’s a bet of a happening and a possible happening of an event not directly affecting the game’s final outcome most times.

Prop bets are also fun bets. They have a lot to do with the game but not necessarily the outcome of the game. Here, are some examples of prop bets.

  • Who will win the coin toss
  • What will be the points over/under for each quarter be
  • Will each quarterback throw a touchdown and in what quarters

That’s just an example of the 100s of possible prop bets that could be available. Put one of the multiple betting apps on your phone and go to town. Or go to your nearest casino with a sports book and place some prop bets. They're fun, and you don’t have to wager much money to win some money.

Prop bets are part of sports and especially the Super Bowl. I like Tom Brady to not throw a touchdown in the first quarter because he’s never done that ever.

So what's your prop bet? Oh yeah, don’t become a degenerate gambler either!
